Self-esteem & Success: Are attractive people more successful is a question asked by Brighton School of Business & Management. Research shows that attractiveness does have a monetary value when it comes to career. Attractive people get more job interviews, get more call backs and are offered higher salaries.
But for sustained success, self-esteem has the highest value. Being attractive can have a positive effect on your self-esteem but not always.

Self-Esteem, Self-Confidence and Self-Efficacy for Success
Simply put, self-esteem is a measure of how much you value yourself as a human being. It is a mistake to rate your self-esteem on a perceived evaluation by others, you must know that you are valuable and take ownership of this. You have to ‘count’ the positive things about yourself, your ability to think, to feel, to act and to have a voice about your perspectives.
Self-confidence is confidence in our skills and abilities. To be successful you have to know your stuff, so whatever you do, get good at it, practice and keep learning. This will ensure you radiate confidence in your competence.
Self-efficacy, a term coined by the psychologist Albert Bandura, is that belief that whatever comes your way, you can handle it. In an age of rapid change where agility and flexibility are required, self-efficacy is the secret of success.
So in summary; to get the job you need to make yourself as attractive as possible and radiate self-esteem. To keep the job and be successful, you better get some self-confidence and develop your self-efficacy.
